Description Warman Loki rail hybrid humbuckers. Matched Pair. Supplied with height adjustment screws and springs. Introduced in November 2018 our new Loki is a shape shifting mischievous pickup. Going from a high output adjustable poled coil on one side and shifting to a hot rail blade on the other coil gives our Loki rail hybrid humbuckers a unique tonal blend. The 4 wire output enables you to wire them up for a variety of tonal options. Sold as a matched pair of bridge and neck the new Loki is best suited to hot and hard metal and rock with plenty of low and mid punch with clear distinct trebles. The rail section of the pickup ensures no drop off in extreme string bends and heaving picking techniques. Neck pickup. With both coils wired in series has a resistance of 7.26 kOhm and an inductance of 3.86 Henries. High quality ceramic magnet. Coil 1 – the blade – is North, its negative wire is black and its positive wire is white. Coil 2 – the hex screw pole – is South, its negative wire is red and its positive wire is green, Bridge pickup.  With both coils wired in series has a distance of 13.31 kOhm and an inductance of 7.27 Henries. High quality ceramic magnet. Coil 1 – the screw poles – is South, its negative wire is black and the positive is white. Coil 2 – the blade – is North, its negative wire is red and the positive is green. The matched pair are designed to be installed with the blades towards the middle of the guitar. This is not just for aesthetic reason but when you are using both pickups and coil cut /tap them both to singe coils  ( cutting coil 1 out of the circuit on both pickups ) you get the blade section of the bridge pickup ( North ) operating with the screw pole section ( South ) of the neck pickup – in effect giving you a wide ranged Loki humbucker across the two positions.
